About me - finding my balance

Hi, my name is Katie and I'm a college student. I live somewhere around Philadelphia, PA in the USA.


I love living a healthy lifestyle (except when chocolate is around). I love working out, running, doing yoga, Pilates and weight lifting. Exercise has really become a part of my everyday life. Eating healthy is much more of a challenge for me, mainly because I am a snacker. I do not love eating meals, but give me a snack and self control goes out the window!

I'm also recovering from a pinched nerve called Sciatica. I'll share my struggles and obstacles as I get back into the exercise world while dealing with this small setback.

I'm a full-time college student and I have two part-time jobs and an internship. I'm a busy person, but I'd rather be busy than bored! It helps keep my crazy mind stimulated and controlled. I'm an English major, so this blog combines writing and fitness, my top favorite interests!

Lastly, I also enjoy reading, writing, baking, napping, taking pictures and shopping in my spare time (what spare time?) I'm a lover of tea and you'll almost always see me with a water bottle and I'm usually wearing workout clothes. They take up about 75% of my wardrobe.
